Trayectos de luz del alba
Justicia Square - 2025
Javier Riera
Interactive lighting that underlines the importance of architecture in Zaragoza. It brings together contemporary art and historical heritage, transforming the facade of the Association of Architects of Aragon building with lights that respond to the audience.

The work
In Justicia Square, ‘Trayectos de luz del alba’ reinterprets the architecture of the environment with a proposal that brings together geometric precision and the magic of light. By means of projections that have been carefully designed, the facade of the Santa Isabel Church turns into a dynamic wall where geometrical shapes have a conversation with the lines and textures of historical architecture.
The work encourages observers to experience visual play in which all they know is transformed, and static elements come to life. The projections, performed in real time and without any subsequent digital manipulation, invoke a deep connection between the space and the present moment, revealing the hidden beauty of the city’s structures.
In ‘Trayectos de luz del alba’, not only do the light forms decorate the space; they also give rise to a narrative that arouses emotions and reflections. Light acts as a bridge between memory of the past and energy of the present, leading audiences along a path that redefines their perception of the environment.
With this show, Justicia Square becomes a setting where the geometry of the light, the silence of the stones and the atmosphere of the night come together to offer an intimate performance for all. It is a rendezvous with the essence of ephemeral art, a moment that disappears at dawn but lives on in our memory.
