Colosses
Stone Bridge - 2025
Louxor Spectacle
The colossi of light in the area around the bridge give rise to a visual metaphor concerning human fragility against the forces of nature. An artistic show that combines art with the most emblematic architecture in Zaragoza.

The work
Two ‘colossi’ turn the Stone Bridge into a setting where monumental and symbolic aspects come together. Two illuminated giants stand while interacting with the bridge structure in a visual metaphor which encourages audiences to reflect on the relationship between humanity and nature.
These colossal figures, illuminated by a dramatic light design, seem to hold up the piers of the bridge while fighting against an invisible force, invoking the eternal tension between human creation and natural elements. The Stone Bridge, a symbol of connection and continuity, is the ideal setting for this installation which questions both the fragility and the resilience of our species in the face of environmental challenges.
The work combines the monumental character of the colossi and an environmental message with a profound impact. The giants, which seem to confront the waters of the Ebro River, represent the constant struggle of human beings to control forces that often overcome them and, at the same time, the urgent need to rethink our relationship with the natural environment.
How can we coexist with nature? What role do we play in conserving our environment? In a world marked by climate change, this show is both a warning and a call to action, reminding us that the bridge between humanity and nature depends on responsible and sustainable decisions.
