FAQS

How can I get to Zaragoza and where should I stay?

Zaragoza is very well connected with the rest of Spain. You can get there by high-speed train (AVE), bus, plane or car. The Zaragoza-Delicias train station and bus station are in an ideal location for access to the city centre. There is also a wide range of places to stay in the city, from boutique accommodation to hotels, hostels and apartments. We recommend that you book in advance to ensure you have somewhere to rest during the festival.

All shows at Zaragoza Luce take place in the centre and areas near the centre of Zaragoza, within a short distance of each other. The route is easy to walk around, meaning you can enjoy both the city and the light shows. If you prefer, you can also move around by bike, which is a practical and sustainable alternative for exploring the city.

The festival will take place from 19:00 to 01:00 on Friday 21 and Saturday 22, and from 19:00 to 23:00 on Sunday 23 February. These times will allow you to see the light shows as best as possible, since the sun will have set.

The Festival Luce is completely free. All shows are open to the public, meaning that everyone can have the chance to enjoy art and culture free of charge.

Every one of the eight shows will have audio guides available via a QR code at each location. These audio guides explain the concept of each work and there will also be information boards for anyone who prefers to read.

Yes, of course! All works are at street level except for ‘Fiat Lux’, which is in the Roman Theatre, and is accessible for PRM.

The Festival is designed for everyone to enjoy. However, we must inform you that the ‘Solar Dust’ installations at Hispanidad Fountain, and ‘Fiat Lux’ in the Roman Theatre use laser technology that may affect people with visual sensitivity.

Likewise, ‘El Núcleo’ in San Felipe Square, and ‘Pii’ in the Association of Architects building use strobe lighting that may affect anyone with visual sensitivity, such as people with epilepsy.

In some Festival Luce areas, the street lighting will be reduced so that you can enjoy the works to the fullest.

As well as the information found on this website, on official Festival Luce social media, and the boards and audio guides available at each location, the Zaragoza Tourism Office will also offer information about the festival and its works.
